Based on the global bestseller Perfect Health by Deepak Chopra, M.D., the Perfect Health: Ayurvedic Lifestyle Program teaches simple yet profound skills for bringing healing, balance, and vitality into your life. Students learn a powerful regimen of Ayurvedic practices designed to balance the body and mind, enhance nutrition, reduce emotional turbulence, and re-awaken the senses.
Our bodies are designed to continually move in the direction of equilibrium -- the state where Perfect Health emerges -- both physically and emotionally. Chopra Center co-founders David Simon, M.D. and Deepak Chopra, M.D., have designed a beautiful five-lesson course for achieving equilibrium of the mind and the body. The Perfect Health: Ayurvedic Lifestyle Program is presented in five weekly sessions.
In Session One, you will be introduced to the basic principles of Ayurveda, meditation, and yoga, as well as the three primary mind-body constitutions: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, and how to determine your unique type.
In Session Two, you will learn how to select and prepare the most nourishing foods for your particular mind-body type. These nutritional practices will help you achieve and maintain vibrant health, appropriate weight, and optimized digestion.
